Remembrance

ニコンサロンによる連続企画展「Remembrance 3.11」への参加を契機として創刊された、小冊子シリーズ『Remembrance』。2012年4月の第1号から2013年12月の第41号で終刊。
《Remembrance》は、東日本大震災の被災地域である岩手、宮城、福島を中心に2011年4月から撮影をはじめ、《Shoreline》というシリーズへ引き継いでいる。タイトルの「Remembrance」には「思い出し続ける」という現在進行形の意味がある。

The first issue of the booklet series “Remembrance” was published in response to Sasaoka’s participation in the “Remembrance 3.11” exhibition at the Nikon Salon, and was published from the first issue in April 2012 to the 41st issue in December 2013.
In April 2011, she began shooting “Remembrance” mainly in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima, the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and has continued to work on the series “Shoreline”. The title “Remembrance” has the present continuous meaning of “keep remembering”, that is, we can continue to recall what happened.
